Theoretical PPL(A) Training

We admit that practical training is much more fun. Nevertheless, there is no escaping the theory. Why not do it in the next winter months?

Theory course PPL - Blended Learning

Blended learning is a combination of traditional teaching and modern distance learning. For you, this means to a large extent location and time-independent learning.

Distance learning

With the help of a study programme, teaching materials and the Distance Learning Platform, you will learn about the different subjects. The training lasts an average of 3 months with a commitment of approx. 6-7 hours per week.  During your studies, you will be accompanied by qualified subject instructors. They are available to you by telephone or e-mail throughout the duration of the study programme.

Classroom review

The study of one or two subjects is followed by a classroom session. Here, progress is monitored and, in particular, the specific key questions of the subjects are addressed.

Theory examination of the FOCA

It takes place in two parts.  The first 5 subjects are tested after the middle of the course. At the end of the course, the 4 remaining subjects will be tested.  Enrolments are dependent on passing the internal exam.

Practical training

Do you already have flying experience on a private basis or as part of a SPHAIR course? This would be an advantage for the theory course. A few hours are all you need to better understand the theory. No experience? We recommend that you take a few lessons before starting the course. Our instructors will be happy to help you.
